Education
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the field of social sciences or public health.
- Demonstrative knowledge and experience involving qualitative research methods.
Skills/Experience
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to organize and present information effectively.
- Demonstrative skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience using qualitative software, such as NVivo, preferred.
- Spanish proficiency is preferred.
Work Environment: Standard office setting at workstation and periodic use of office equipment. This position will initially be fully remote and may transition to in-person work in accordance with public health guidance. A laptop will be provided for the duration of the internship.
Position Type and Work Schedule: The internship will run from May-August 2025 (Summer Internship). Hours are flexible, but the intern will be required to work up to 20 hours per week (minimum of 10 hours), between the hours of Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Travel: Possible local travel to multiple sites including community meetings and other events upon request.
Physical Demands: Transporting materials is limited to travel, if needed.
Salary and Benefits: The Qualitative Research Intern will be paid $5,000 per semester.
