Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conduct a site survey with company-provided tools and equipment.
- Document site with a camera using company app.
- Effectively and professionally communicate with the customer to inform them of your process and timeline.
- Prompt and regular communication with Ion Solar's scheduling team.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Proficient math skills to calculate the number of materials needed.
- Ability to use ION technology, such as Paycom, FieldPro, Salesforce, and smartphones
- Must possess a valid Driver's License
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic knowledge of roofing and construction: materials involved, roof types and terms, etc.
- Basic knowledge of residential electrical systems and associated vocabulary.
Driving Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a clean driving record as determined by a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work at heights.
- Physically able to climb, stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
- Must use earplugs around loud equipment and wear gloves, safety glasses, and other protective gear.
