Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Take tubes from the cleanroom and run them on the hot table
- Take tubes off the hot table and fill them with the appropriate gas mix to the correct pressure
- Test tube for leaks and move the tube in the system accordingly
- Install heat sinks and transfer tubes to electronics
- Roll gas cylinders periodically
- Test tubes for power and fall time before and after 24 hour burn in
- Responsible for putting tubes on and removing tubes from 24 hour burn in
- Responsible for proper movement of tubes and staging of tubes for final test
- Assist in/perform hot table bake out maintenance
- Assist in some troubleshooting of problematic lasers when a gas issue is suspected
- Collaborate with facilities and engineering to address equipment issues and maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
