Responsibilities:
- Maintain all distribution systems for electricity, water, steam, gas, etc.
- Maintain and operate air conditioning, heating ventilation, and refrigeration system.
- Maintain buildings and grounds.
- Monitor and coordinate the services performed by outside contractors in accordance with all contracts, leases, service agreements and warranties.
- Keep all records pertaining to heat, light and power, and costs of the facility.
- Ensure timely response to requests for service by guests, employees and management to include repair or replacement of all interior fixtures and furnishings.
- Schedule all work to be done daily at a minimum of inconvenience to guests and employees.
- Assist Area Director of Engineering to plan, implement, and administer an effective energy management and preventative maintenance program.
- Assist Area Director of Engineering in the preparation of capital expenditures and maintenance budgets and monthly financial statements.
- Maintain purchasing records, initiate purchase orders, approve invoices and maintain adequate inventory of parts, tools, and supplies.
- Train and supervise subordinates.
- Conduct continuing inspection of buildings and grounds to ensure compliance with OSHA, fire and safety laws and take action to ensure compliance.
- To respond to all major emergencies & coordinate effectively.
- Participate in the safety committee and assist safety chairperson to direct the Safety and Sanitation Programs properly and successfully.
