SUMMARY: The Patriots Dance Team Cheerleader is responsible for performing at games and community events to promote the team and organization. In addition, they will serve as a goodwill ambassador in the community.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Participate in a minimum of 2 rehearsals per week.
2. Perform at all Patriot home games, to include preseason, regular season, post season, and any away playoff games as requested.
3. Generate crowd enthusiasm by entertaining and motivating fans thru cheer performances and dance routines.
4. Positively contribute to the overall fan and guest experience on game days and during events.
5. Learn and retain basic football and organizational knowledge.
6. Participate in promotional appearances as required.
7. Travel and participate in photo and video shoots for promotional pieces and media outlets.
8. Maintain a physical fitness level that meets the demands of the position.
9. Promote the teams brand identity through social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
10. Special projects and assignments as business dictates

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position has no supervisory responsibilities

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have dance performance experience or possess a natural ability.
• Must have fundamental technical dance skills and/or training
• Must be comfortable with public speaking
• Must maintain a fit appearance.
• Must complete the post application registration process
• Travel as required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to handle or feel.
• The employee frequently is required to dance, stretch, jump, and run.
• The employee frequently is required to talk or hear.
• The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
