The SVP of Sales - Northwest Region is responsible for strategically leading a sales team by promoting and reinforcing a culture of sales excellence, to drive key initiatives, and deliver predictable results. As a key member of the leadership team this role will collaborate with business leaders to set goals and strategies for the organization.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day sales organization of all assigned branch locations, including all Loan Originators.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a successful team that exceeds all expectations for customer service, production goals, and community reputation.
  • Assist in establishing and managing the assigned team budget to ensure profitability, growth and sustainability, and work closely with corporate staff to monitor, optimize, and improve Loan Originators performance.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the company’s market presence and revenue streams.
  • Foster a culture of compliance that resonates throughout the entire staff.
  • Develop and maintain lifelong relationships with consumers, business partners, and  colleagues.
  • Drive innovation in sales processes, methodologies, and technologies to enhance efficiency.
  • Attend and complete all required training, maintain knowledge of all lending policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations, and complete all licensing prerequisites and requirements;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in mortgage operations, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven record in driving sales growth between $180 $240 million per year in team production.
  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage lending processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven track of success in sales leadership roles, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility.  
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in mortgage lending software and technology platforms.
