Slot Tech III - F/T

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Responsible for the day to day maintenance of all Slot machines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

• Performs maintenance on Slot machines and related equipment.
• Handles temporary and permanent removal of funds from Slots.
• Checks Slot machines to determine if there is fraudulent activity.
• Replaces chips, logic boards and currency accepts.
• Responsible for maintenance of Slot related signage.
• Responsible for maintaining inventory logs on all Slot departmental parts.
• Responsible for maintaining logs detailing receipt and/or return of all Slot Departmental parts.
• Performs advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair.
• Proficient in conversions, machine moves and other projects.
• Trains Slot Technician level I & II in more advanced repair techniques.
• Complies with all applicable regulations, internal controls, policies and procedures.
• Running change for guests.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs Lead Slot Tech responsibilities in their absence.

GAMING EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school Diploma or G.E.D. 2 year electronic degree or work related equivalency preferred. 3 or more years electronics related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to read electronic schematics, operator manuals and complete projects with minimum supervision. Must be able to communicate in English.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

To perform this job successfully, the individual must me able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1  mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift.Also may be subjected to a smoke filled environment.

Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment.Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to:a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
