Job Description Summary

To deliver professional, meticulous, relaxing and exemplary spa services to the guests and staff.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

  • Provide excellent guest service.
  • Maintains Forbes 5 Star and Ace Service Standards
  • Achieve weekly retail sales goals
  • Conduct all massages and treatments as outlined in the Spa brochure or specials.
  • Stays up to date and knowledgeable with current wellness trends, equipment, and products in the spa.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment in accordance with applicable state, local, OSHA and MSDS mandates.
  • Complies with all applicable Tribal regulations, internal controls and policies and procedures. Documents and reports all exceptions/variations/deviations immediately upon awareness

Qualifications

Required Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D License or Certification Required
  • Valid California State/County/City Massage License and practicing insurance.
  • Valid California State Esthetician or California Cosmetology license, if performing esthetics services.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years professional massage and/or Esthetics experience.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/workstation for the duration of the shift.  Also, may be subjected to a smoke-filled environment.

Typically, the individual will be housed in an office environment.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but will escalate when located in the casino environment.  Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 35lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
