Job Description Summary

Corporate Promotions & Partnerships Marketing Manager is responsible for two key areas of marketing, corporate promotions and corporate partnerships.  The first, corporate promotions, is any retail (open) promotion among two or more properties that allows all ACE Club members to participate (earn entries), qualify for a gift or promotional item, and have an opportunity to win prizes.  The manager would oversee all aspects of creation, development, implementation and management of all corporate promotional initiatives.  The second key aspect, corporate partnerships is about identifying, cultivating and maintaining partnerships that enhance our ACE Rewards value proposition and/or our brand equities.  In both key areas, collaboration with the Senior Director of Marketing/VP, are essential to ensure strategies are driving are driving revenues and increase the effectiveness of our marketing efforts.   

 

Essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

  • Department leader for Corporate Promotions and Partnerships
  • Develop department business plans for promotions & partnerships
  • Oversee the effective management, development, implementation and execution of approved promotions
  • Manage the effective development to stimulate and optimize business opportunities/partnerships and implement programs
  • Manage, track and report on all aspects of promotional and partnership events
  • In collaboration with the Senior Director of Marketing, reviews promotional activity to determine changes in marketing programs as required.
  • Oversee the tracking and execution of all pertinent invoices and bills with regard to approved promotional and partnerships
  • Coordinate with necessary approved external vendors and internal departments to ensure efficiency of all events and promotions
  • Oversee procedures, setup and sales for partnership events.
  • Monitor expenses versus budget figures to ensure compliance
  • Coordinate, direct and evaluate department staff in the areas of policies, procedures and job performance. Ensures adherence to policies and procedures, and internal controls.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through building and strengthening relationships with key external partners
  • Manage promotional goods and merchandising vendors including selecting, ordering and managing product inventory levels for the ACE Club member gift program.
  • Preforms as the primary point of contact for partnership inquiries and activities. Will investigate possible partnership opportunities and present opportunities to the Marketing department.
  • Will support Marketing team with the planning and execution of partner related events and reporting on effectiveness of partnerships
  • Comply with all applicable Tribal regulations, internal controls and policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • 5 years of experience in marketing and/or casino gaming
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Good communication skills and must be computer literate.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills, be computer literate, the ability to work with all departments and have excellent customer relation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in English.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet demanding deadlines while paying attention to details.
  • Ability to work effectively under stressful situations and time constraints.
  • Must be comfortable working with a team and environment in a fast pace where change is a norm; and ability to prioritize & meet deadlines within specific time constraints

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

  • To perform this job successfully, the individual must me able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1  mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/workstation for the duration of the shift.
  • Also may be subjected to work in a smoke filled environment.
  • Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment.
  • Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
