Job Description Summary

Assist with the maintaining and directing of the pool, spa and locker facility teams.  Supports guest and team communication for smooth operations by ensuring guests are being taken care of and team is working together.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

  • Ensures excellent service by maintaining the Forbes 5 star and Ace service standards are being performed by staff.
  • Greet all guests in a warm and friendly manner as they enter the spa.
  • Be knowledgeable in spa wellness amenities and equipment.
  • Support team with directives to maintain stations and duties.
  • Keep areas stocked and refreshed.
  • Support management in operations of spa and pool.
  • Educate guests on amenities, circuits and equipment.
  • Assist pool team and spa attendant team.
  • Ensure inventory levels are maintained.
  • Ensure team is restocking through daily tasks for the opening and closing teams.
  • Maintain training on all equipment and keep certifications monitored.
  • Keep staff on track with duties while listening and addressing concerns.
  • Perform on boarding and ongoing training for equipment, general operation of duties and implementations.
  • Monitor schedules of guests and team.
  • Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, regulations and the ACRM and ACPS Systems of internal controls and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

Required Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years Spa customer and operations experience preferred.
  • Good communications skills and must be computer literate.
  • Must be able to communicate in English
  • Must be able to obtain a Riverside County Health Department card within one week of employment.
  • Must be able to complete and show proof of Responsible Alcoholic Beverage Certificate through Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control within 60 days of employment.

 

 

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

Some exposure to nail and/or hair related products.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/workstation for the duration of the shift.  Also, may be subjected to a smoke-filled environment.

Typically, the individual will be housed in an office environment.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but will escalate when located in the casino environment.  Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to:  a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
