Slot High Limit Cashier - P/T

Job Description Summary

This position provides guest services for slot gaming customers in the High Limit Room. Processes slot jackpot payouts and redeems slot tickets. May perform duties of slot attendant and cage cashier as necessary
(other duties may be assigned)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assume sole custody and accountability for Slot High Limit and apron cash fund during a shift.
• Redeem High Limit Platinum Room and other casino guest slot tickets for cash.
• Process High Limit Platinum Room and other casino guest slot jackpot payouts
• Maintains applicable logs for slot ticket paper inventory.
• Replenishes slot machines with slot ticket paper, as needed according to the approved system of internal controls.
• Check slot machines to determine if there is any fraudulent activity.
• Retrieve cash or tickets stuck in Slots.
• Generate manual slot/hand pay tickets.
• Exchange chips for cash, cash for chips and EZ Pay tickets and coin for currency.
• Performs check cashing and credit transactions. Assists customers in completion of check cashing and credit applications.
• Performs credit card cash advances , using specific guidelines.
• Perform player bank withdrawals and deposits.
• Provides excellent guest service.
• Must adhere to all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering(AML) Program and its regulations including, but not limited to, Title 31 Cash Transaction Reporting, Suspicious Activity Reporting and Customer Identification requirements. Completes cash-in and cash-out Multiple Transaction Logs during shift.
• Must comply with all applicable ACRM andACPS System of Internal Controls, Standard Operating Procedures and all Tribal Regulations.
• Responsible for processing transactions accurately.

Required Education and/or Experience
 

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• One year slot related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in cash operations.
• Must have a professional demeanor and be able to communicate fluently in English
• Must be able to use a Ten Key Adding Machine.
• Must be able to work in an intense and fast paced environment where a high degree of concentration is necessary to perform required job duties

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

• To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1  mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift. Must be able to work in a smoke filled environment.
• Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
