Job Description Summary

Responsible for collaborating with Agua Caliente’s Interactive Gaming team on defining Agua’s interactive gaming product strategy while participating in the development, implementation and ongoing support of all interactive gaming related applications. Defines and maintains interactive gaming technology roadmap. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

  • Assists the Agua Interactive team with determining the vision and strategy for interactive, mobile and social gaming efforts for Agua Caliente. 
  • Performs the role of product technology manager by coordinating the creation and ongoing maintenance of Agua’s interactive and social gaming technology roadmap.
  • Assists with business development strategy and successful execution of all Agua Caliente interactive gaming initiatives.
  • Assists with supporting the organization’s goal of integrating interactive and land-based gaming systems to increase the company’s overall profitability. 
  • Information Technology liaison to other departments for interactive and social gaming related projects. 
  • Monitor issues, recommend enhancements and performance of interactive applications ensuring customer satisfaction and organizational goals are being met. 
  • Extensive collaboration and communication with marketing and interactive gaming teams relative to the development, implementation and monitoring of promotional strategies.
  • Establishes and manages technology relationships with all required external interactive and social gaming vendors.
  • Works closely with IT and interactive gaming leadership on the development and administration of interactive gaming capital expenditure and operating budgets.
  • Keeps abreast of technology related advancements in the interactive gaming field, as well as competitors, makes applicable improvement recommendations to IT leadership ensuring best in breed, profitable offerings.
  • Supports the creation and implementation of systems, processes and structure to ensure compliance throughout the organization with all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Adheres to all Tribal Ordinances, internal and external regulations, and the ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Adheres to quality, guest service, and guest demand expectations, nurtures a positive, fun environment for both guests and team members.

Qualifications

Required Education and/or Experience

  • Minimum of six (6) years of progressive interactive gaming experience including key technology-based role in the implementation of interactive gaming systems.
  • Demonstrated interactive gaming product management experience.
  • Knowledge of interactive gaming laws, regulations, and guidelines governing Native American Casinos.
  • General knowledge of sports betting and social gaming operations preferred.
  • Knowledge of software engineering and integration processes for enterprise mobile applications.
  • Strong independent decision-making, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of executive leadership.
  • Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to calculate discounts, commissions and percentages.
  • Ability to work after normal business hours as needed and or required by the business.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, diverse, environment and accommodate multiple projects with the ability to quickly change tasks based on business needs.
  • Must possess excellent communication and organization skills.  Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with other department personnel, management, staff and co-workers; and customers; pleasant personality, team oriented and enjoys working with and serving people.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

 

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/workstation for the duration of the shift.  Also, may be subjected to a smoke-filled environment.

Typically, the individual will be housed in an office environment.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but will escalate when located in the casino environment.  Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to:  a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
