Job Description Summary

Responsible for leading the strategic vison of all interactive and social gaming initiatives for Agua Interactive, a new department within Agua Caliente Casinos. Oversees daily operations of interactive, social and mobile gaming efforts helping to drive growth opportunities while achieving the organization’s financial and operational goals. Assists the Agua Interactive senior leadership team with the development and execution of enterprise-wide strategic plans.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

  • Assist the ACBCI Leadership Team with determining the vision and strategy for interactive, social and mobile gaming efforts for Agua Caliente Casinos.
  • Leads the business development strategy, design, and successful execution of all Agua Caliente interactive gaming initiatives.
  • Manage all aspects of mobile gaming, mobile on-premises and interactive gaming activities to achieve the department’s financial and operational goals.
  • Establishes and implements a strategy which supports the organization’s goal of integrating interactive and land-based gaming systems to increase the company’s overall profitability.
  • Manages day-to-day relationships with interactive gaming partners to help establish, meet, and exceed business goals, improving quality of offering while building out existing and future interactive gaming platforms.
  • Extensive collaboration and communication with marketing team to develop, implement and monitor promotional strategies.
  • Collaborates with the Digital Media team and provides guidance in the establishment of a content strategy that appropriately integrates data and other interactive and social gaming content into relevant components across website, mobile apps, and social media.
  • Maintains appropriate interactive gaming staffing levels by interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, evaluating, promoting, disciplining and terminating employees, as needed.
  • Ensures timely review, investigation and resolution to interactive gaming related patron complaints.
  • Supports the creation and implementation of systems, processes and structure to ensure compliance throughout the organization with all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Develops and administers interactive gaming capital expenditure and operating budgets.
  • Keeps abreast of advancements in the interactive gaming field, as well as competitors, makes applicable improvement recommendations to the Agua Interactive senior leadership team ensuring best in breed, profitable offerings.
  • Primary liaison for interaction with Tribal Gaming Commission for interactive gaming related activities.
  • Adheres to quality, guest service, and guest demand expectations, nurtures a positive, fun environment for both guests and team members.
  • Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinances, Regulations, and the Agua Caliente Casinos System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Manage and supervise employees as assigned. Carries out supervisory responsibilities while assuring adherence to the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications

Required Education and/or Experience

  • Eight (8) years of progressive gaming experience including (3) years of expert knowledge managing interactive and social gaming systems.
  • Minimum five (5) years of demonstrated broad-based operational success in a director level or above position within the Gaming Industry.
  • Four-year degree from a college or university, an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of executive leadership.
  • Strong independent decision-making, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of interactive gaming laws, regulations, and guidelines governing Native American Casinos.
  • General knowledge of sports betting operations strongly preferred.
  • Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to calculate discounts, commissions and percentages.
  • Ability to work in a faced paced, diverse, environment and accommodate last minute requests and changes.
  • Must possess excellent verbal, written, communication and organization skills. Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with other department personnel, management, staff and co-workers; and customers; pleasant personality, team oriented and enjoys working with and serving people.

 

 

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout theoffice area and properties, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/workstation for the duration of the shift. Also, may be subjected to a smoke-filled environment.

Typically, the individual will be housed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
