IT Support Technician Analyst - Onsite - Professional Services in Greater Seattle Area

What You Contribute:
You will leverage your experience and can-do attitude to to provide excellent support to employees, issue troubleshooting, system imaging, software updates, hardware, networks, and to provide business systems application administration. The IT Support Technician’s goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure design includes the full lifecycle of the service, including security, stability, and efficiency. In addition, this role will provide end-user training and documentation to ensure the employees can work efficiently.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Provides appropriate answers to internal customer and external client inquiries with diplomacy and appropriate sense of urgency; escalate to vendor support as needed and manage vendor support tickets.
- Responsible for day-to-day application support for all levels. This includes user access, permissions, and ensure users and business systems are operating securely and efficiently.
- Works with various vendor to implement, troubleshoot, and ensure MI is utilizing the computer systems and services to the maximum capacity.
- Responsible for customizing and making changes to applications at the administrator level.
- Creating documentation and evaluating changes in designs, reviewing, and updating support and process documents, and establishing standard operating procedures.
- Troubleshooting software issues as they arise and ensure support tickets are created and managed.
- Installation and and configuration of software and hardware; management of network servers and technology tools; monitoring of performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
- Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.

- Achieving successful installation and configuration of software/hardware; management of network servers and technology tools; as well as performance and maintenance of systems according to requirements.
- Leveraging an adaptable communication style to successfully support employees at differing levels and abilities on our systems and processes so that all team members receive the highest caliber training and support.
- Processes, support, and training documentation is maintained and accessible across the firm.
What you bring to the table
- Ability to reliably travel between offices and remote worksites in the Puget Sound (Seattle, Tacoma, Kirkland, Everett), as needed, to provide onsite support during office hours, Monday to Friday.
- Ability to train onsite in our Kirkland office for the first 3-4 months of orientation, then transitioning to working onsite in either our Seattle or Tacoma office Monday to Friday, 7:30 - 4:30 pm. Interoffice travel is required.
- BS in Business or Computer Science with a minimum of 4-7 years’ experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience as a Support Technician, System Administrator, or Network Engineering
- Unwavering ability to understand the sensitivity and maintain confidentiality of work product of those you support.
- Experience working with a document management solution, timekeeping system, and a client portal is a plus.
- Experience working with VMware Horizon, Document Management, and virtual desktops a plus.
- Salesforce administration and iManage experience a plus.
- Demonstrated success with application administration, training, and maintenance throughout an organization.
- Detail-oriented problem solver with exceptional follow through and customer service history.
- Collaborative demeanor with desire to work with and integrate into a diverse, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with concurrent deadlines.
- Experience with databases (SQL), networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management experience a plus.
- Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
- Ability to create scripts in PowerShell or other language a plus.
- Prior experience supporting a professional services environment a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while thriving in a team environment
IT Support Technician Total Rewards
- Job Salary Range: $30.58 - $45.87 per hour, est. annualized $63,600 - 95,400
- Expected Hiring Range: $31 - $34/hr.
- Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
