As a Store Sales Manager for Palmetto Moon, you are responsible for leading the store in the following key areas:

 

COMMUNICATION

  • Build strong partnerships with District Manager, Visual Merchandising AND other store sales managers to deliver on store initiatives & goals
  • Effectively communicate store business and financial objectives to District Manager. Provides feedback to management on store results, customer demands, trends & needs of the store
  • Instill Customer is King mentality to every and each employee
  • Consistently be a positive and communicate effectively to the store team


BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

  • Analyze business trends and create plans to increase sales, and control expenses to drive overall profitability within store by partnering with District Manager
  • Monitor and measure financial, operational, and service results, and hold team accountable for achieving store goals
  • Monitor labor and communicate opportunities
  • Ensure store maintains highest store standards (i.e., visuals, cleanliness, appropriate inventory levels on the floor, safety etc.) in accordance with company operating policies and procedures
  • Remain effective in a changing environment and manage change. Adjust team priorities to meet goals and commitments.
  • Focus daily on staff providing the best customer experience in the store

 

TEAM DEVELOPMENT

  • Coach, mentor, motivate and train store team to meet financial goals, enhance team performance and customer service levels
  • Identify bench strength and work with District Manager to develop high-potentials in order to build a leadership talent pipeline
  • Recruit high potential talent and leverage HR for guidance & support
  • Develop team atmosphere by recognizing superior performance

  • Retail experience a must
  • Strong merchandising skills

  • Detail oriented
  • Physical Requirements--ability to bend, twist, stoop, stand on your feet for long periods of time, & lift materials up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations
