QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
- Must possess and maintain a valid CA driver’s license and insurable driving record.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- A strong commitment to advancing Wellnest’s mission.
- Working knowledge of social media and email outreach platforms
- Ability to handle several projects simultaneously, create, write, and edit social media posts.
- Able to use tools like Canva and Hootsuite for content creation and outreach.
- General knowledge of marketing and branding, ability to manage spreadsheets and create presentations.
- Demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity with diverse groups across race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, class, ability, gender, and other identifiers.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational, coordination, problem-solving, and time management skills, including planning and managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining an eye for detail.
- Working knowledge of email marketing and the digital environment; importing and exporting contact data, creating a content calendar and campaigns that align with DEI holidays, events, and other marketing priorities.
- Basic knowledge of website principles, SEO, and how these issues affect content and engagement with followers and users of the website.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (i.e., MS Word, Excel, PPT, and Outlook) and ability to adapt to new technology systems and applications.
