ROLE SUMMARY:
The Program Manager for Early Intervention Day Treatment supports the day-to-day operations of the Day Treatment Intensive Program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manages day to day operations of the Early Intervention Day Treatment Intensive program which includes hiring, scheduling, training and evaluation to ensure quality service delivery and program compliance
- Completes daily and weekly schedules to manage program staffing and services provided to clients enrolled in the program
- Tracks program data and daily program duties to ensure compliance with DMH guidelines, program contracts, grants and the Wellnest’s Standards of Care
- Coordinates program referrals and enrollment to ensure timely access to care
- Oversees the program census and service delivery rate in order to manage the number of clients enrolled, and ensure the program is meeting the needs of the community in respect to the program’s budget
- Provides supervision to staff members, including Therapists, Case Managers, and Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist on performance including interventions, service provision, and clinical risk issues.
- Manages outcome measures to ensure timely completion and submission of projects, as well as reviews quarterly outcome measure reports
- Supervises daily program duties including but not limited to: intakes, authorization for services, program census, and incident reporting
- Supervises a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialists, Clinical Therapists, and Case Managers to ensure staff accountability, completion of job requirements, professional development, and provision of quality services
- Communicates with the Department of Mental Health (DMH) for purposes of client authorizations and assurance of meeting program requirements. Other responsibilities include outreaching to potential referral sources in order to maintain program census expectations
- Coordinates and communicates with internal programs (i.e. Access and Outpatient) and external entities (i.e. Referral Sources, etc.) in order to manage case assignment and program enrollment
- Hires according to staffing budget in order to meet program and contract requirements; coordinates training for new staff in order to ensure staff success in all job requirements
- Directs staff and classroom meetings in order to communicate program updates, and aid staff in meeting program guidelines
- Collaboratively works with the Program Director and conducts outreach to schools, childcare centers, and other community organizations in order to educate about DTI service
- Approves timesheets in Paycom including missed punches, overtime requests, and PTO requests
- Participates in organization leadership meetings as scheduled
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited college or university is required. Current registration with licensing board is required. At least two (2) years post-licensure experience in supervising is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of clinical supervisory experience in a community setting is preferred. Experience working with the Birth to Five population is required. Endorsement as an Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist is preferred.
Must possess and maintain a valid CA driver’s license and insurable driving record that meets Wellnest’s insurance carrier’s criteria for liability coverage. Use of a personal vehicle is required to complete the essential duties of this position. In keeping with Company policy for all employees, the successful applicant must also complete a test for Tuberculosis (TB), and fingerprint clearance by the Department of Justice. Proof that you will be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by your employment start date. Per the CDC and Department of Public Health, individuals are considered fully vaccinated for COVID-19: two weeks or more after they have received the second dose in a 2-dose series (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna or vaccine authorized by the World Health Organization), or two weeks or more after they have received a single-dose vaccine (Johnson and Johnson [J&J]/Janssen). The Company will provide exemptions in accordance with applicable law.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Employee may be asked to pursue additional training when it is determined to be in the best interest of the Company.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Employee regularly works out in the field and in an office environment. Employee may be required to work flexible, evening and/or weekend hours for time-sensitive projects.
