Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be reliable, willing, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Experience with Digital Printers required.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Previous Color Press experience helpful but not mandatory.
Mental Requirements:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret internal documents to perform job duties.
- Effective interpersonal skills needed.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions, written and oral.
- Ability to determine “root cause” of problem and determine corrective action.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude required.
- Computer knowledge is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Work involves a variety of manual labor tasks requiring some strenuous
physical effort such as lifting objects weighing more than fifty (50) pounds.
- Physical strength and stamina are important.
- Occasionally, incumbents may experience highly stressful situations in the process of
resolving problems of an immediate nature for clients.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking during machine operation, on a solid surface, up to 12 hours per day.
- Reaching with arms up and down, side to side; use hands and fingers to feel or handle objects up to 12 hours per day.
- Close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception with ability to discern color and texture up to 12 hours per day.
- Ability to work in a moderately loud environment.
- Frequent exposure to machinery noise.
- Must have ability to work in a hot or cold environment, up to 12 hours per day.
- Must be physically able to operate and repair machines, which may involve bending, squatting, and crawling.
