Position Overview:
TNT Crane & Rigging, a leading provider of crane and rigging solutions, is seeking an experienced Business Applications Administrator to join our IT team. The Business Applications Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day management, configuration, and user administration of the organization’s core business applications (e.g., CRM, ERP, HSE Management System, ITSM). This role ensures that users have the appropriate access based on their role, maintains application integrity, and supports operational efficiency by managing permissions, workflows, and system settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Management & Maintenance: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of key business systems, including ERP, Finance and HSE safety software, ensuring seamless functionality.
- Administering user access and role-based permissions across critical applications
- Managing license assignments, onboarding/offboarding workflows, and access audits
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor system performance, address issues promptly, and implement enhancements to improve system efficiency and uptime.
- Collaborating with business units to understand application usage and optimize configurations
- Security & Compliance: Maintain the security of systems in compliance with company policies and industry standards. Protect sensitive data through effective security measures.
- Working with IT security to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- API Integration: Develop and maintain API integrations to connect various systems and improve data flow between departments.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide hands-on technical support to resolve system-related challenges quickly. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex issues.
- Maintaining data integrity, managing user requests, and supporting application troubleshooting
- Updates & Upgrades: Schedule, plan, and implement system updates, patches, and upgrades with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Supporting change management efforts when rolling out updates or new functionality
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for internal reference.
- User Training & Support: Train staff on new system features and best practices, ensuring efficient utilization of technology across the company.
- Project Leadership: Contribute to IT projects such as system migrations, new technology deployments, and process optimizations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
