About the Position 

As the Business Data Analyst, you'll be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our data at its source, consolidating data from multiple locations, creating meaningful reports to summarize your insights, and presenting the results of your analysis to senior business leaders in multiple departments to help drive data-driven decisions. 

 

Job Requirements 

  • Be available to work primarily during the regular business day (9am-5pm EST).

  • Be able to work independently from a remote, home office in a quiet workspace with minimal noise and distractions.

  • Have access to a personal computer and secure, reliable internet services.

 

Roles & Responsibilities 

  • Collect and analyze data on established and prospective customers, competitors, and marketing channels/sources.

  • Prepare reports that interpret consumer behavior, market opportunities/conditions, marketing results, trends, and customer engagement levels.

  • Investigate and evaluate marketing and communication methods, consumer insights, marketing/advertising channels, and their results in an effort to continually optimize lead growth and conversion.

  • Prepare and present material findings internally.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience, and other teams to identify and deliver on reporting/analytical needs to drive business decisions.

  • Provide insights that contribute to data-driven marketing and communications decisions.

 

Core Competencies 

  • Advanced analytical and statistical skills with a demonstrated ability to turn detailed analysis into insightful information.

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience running sophisticated analytics on large data sets.

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets to develop insights.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving ability.

  • Certified in Google Analytics.

  • Prior experience using SQL, Tableau, and Looker Studio would be considered an asset.
