Job Description

The Financial Analyst will provide accurate and data-based information on company’s profitability, solvency, stability and liquidity. This position will research and analyze financial information to help the company make well informed decisions, write reports and monitor financial movements.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
  • Analyze financial data – and create financial models for decision support.
  • Report on financial performance and preparation for regular leadership reviews.
  • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis; identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Guide cost analysis processes by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.
  • Identifying and driving process improvements, including creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools and Excel dashboards.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or related field.
  • High proficiency with financial modeling and techniques.
  • Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions.
  • Strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models.
  • Strong analytical and data gathering skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required; familiarity with data query/data management tools extremely helpful (Access, SQL, Business Objects).

2. Be Wary of Requests for Personal Information:

We will never request sensitive personal information like your Social Security number, bank details, or payment for onboarding/equipment. If you encounter such requests, it's likely a scam.

3. Verify Contact Information:

Check that the contact information provided in the job posting, including email addresses and phone numbers, aligns with our official contact information. Scammers often use generic or non-company email addresses.

  • What is the sender’s email address? Is it consistent with other job postings from this company? Email addresses that are slightly different from any business’s primary contact information (Jane.Doe@IntegraConnect.org vs John.Doe@Integra Connect.com) are a common warning sign.
  • If you are contacted through LinkedIn, be sure to review the entire profile to verify their credentials.
