ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet residents and warmly and make them feel welcome and attended to
- Make restaurant dining and other reservations for residents.
- Obtain tickets for events for residents.
- Assist in coordinating travel plans for residents.
- Provide information about local features such as shopping, dining, and recreational destinations.
- Partner with the Life Enrichment team on outings.
- Receive, store, and deliver packages, prescriptions, mail, and other deliveries.
- Provide lunch coverage for the IL and AL receptionist.
- Provide reception coverage for desks when the normal receptionist is out.
- Run errands for residents such as light shopping.
- Ensure the reception commons areas are well maintained, organized, and welcoming.
- Act as a liaison between residents and any department necessary including the culinary, maintenance, housekeeping, etc.
- Respond to resident concerns and find the appropriate solution
- Coordinate a volunteer program. Work with local individuals and organizations who are seeking volunteer opportunities. Ensure all federal and state regulations are met.

SUPERVISION & LEADERSHIP:
None
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Long Term Care industry experience preferred. Minimum three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of customer service and experience. Proactive individual who is detail oriented, self-motivated, able to work with little supervision with skills in leadership and communication.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific or technical journal, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or concerns from residents, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of practical problems.
COMPUTER OPERATIONS: Proficient personal computer skills including e-mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets and graphics.
