Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.Â
- Experience as a versatile developer with HTML5 expertise. Familiarity with Squarespace and email development is highly desirable.
- Understanding of industry-standard design and production software and their current capabilities.
- Strong understanding of design principles tailored to different objectives and audiences, with the ability to create visually compelling content.Â
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across print and digital media.
- Self-motivated leader with strong independent work and project management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled in video and photo editing, short-form video creation, graphic design, and web design.
- Detail-oriented, with high integrity and the ability to manage confidential information
- Effective and reliable designer willing to test new ideas
- Strategic, innovative and creative thinker
- Strong understanding of designÂ
- Ability to work with diverse audiences and handle sensitive subjects
- Human services and mission driven
Education and Experience:Â
- Bachelor's degree in communications, graphic design, marketing, or related field.
- 10+ years of professional design experience, with a portfolio of previous design work to showcase experience and creativity.Â
- Experience with CMS systems and website platforms including Squarespace, is a plus
- Experience in providing strategic advice and problem-solving support to cross-functional teams.
Physical and Environmental Conditions:
Work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, e.g., use of safe workplace practices with office equipment, and/or avoidance of trips and falls. Long and extended hours and travel required.
