JOB SUMMARY:
This role will be responsible for acquiring data from multiple factory and ERP sources, creating robust KPIs and dashboards in Power BI and Excel, and supporting the analysis of complex data sets to drive profitability and operational efficiency improvements across the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (includes other duties as required):
Lead Analytics Projects Across the Supply Chain
- Identify and prioritize high-impact analytics initiatives across procurement, production, logistics, and distribution networks.
- Define clear project objectives, scope, timelines, and success metrics in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Manage end-to-end analytics projects, including requirement gathering, data sourcing, modeling, validation, and deployment.
Machine Learning Model Development
- Design and implement predictive and prescriptive analytics models using machine learning techniques to support demand forecasting, supplier risk assessment, inventory optimization, transportation planning, and lead time prediction.
- Apply time series analysis, regression models, classification algorithms, and clustering techniques to solve supply chain challenges.
- Continuously monitor and retrain models to ensure accuracy and adaptability to evolving business conditions.
Data Collection, Cleansing, and Integration
- Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources (ERP, TMS, WMS, third-party APIs, market data, etc.) to build a unified analytics platform.
- Ensure data integrity by performing quality checks, de-duplication, outlier detection, and resolution of discrepancies.
- Work closely with IT and data engineering teams to define data pipelines and enable automated data ingestion and transformation.
Dashboard Development and Visualization
- Design and build real-time, user-friendly dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker to communicate insights to stakeholders at all levels.
- Customize visualizations for different audiences (executives, operations managers, planners) to drive strategic and tactical decisions.
- Implement drill-down capabilities, alerts, and what-if scenario analysis to support dynamic business needs.
Performance Monitoring and KPI Management
- Define and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain functions such as forecast accuracy, order fulfillment, inventory turnover, service levels, and transportation costs.
- Create automated reporting tools and scorecards that provide ongoing performance tracking and root-cause analysis.
- Lead monthly and quarterly review sessions with business leaders to interpret results and identify areas for improvement.
Strategic Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a thought partner to supply chain, finance, procurement, and operations teams by providing analytical expertise and strategic guidance.
- Translate complex analytical outcomes into actionable business recommendations.
- Present findings, models, and insights to executive leadership, driving consensus and alignment on data-driven strategies.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and academic research in supply chain analytics and AI/ML.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, or vendors that can accelerate analytics maturity.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, experimentation, and innovation within the supply chain function.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Proven expertise in machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, time series forecasting).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as Python, R, SQL, and Excel.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization and dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
- Experience working with large datasets, data lakes, or cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex data findings to non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of manufacturing or supply chain operations is a requirement.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Python (web apps) or R (including Shiny) for advanced data analysis.
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices.
- Lean Six Sigma certification or experience in process improvement methodologies.
