Description and Requirements

Maryland Auto Insurance is seeking motivated and organized individuals to fill Claims Call Center Associate positions in our Baltimore office at McHenry Row.  The candidate will be allowed to work remotely 90% of the time.  These positions are expected to answer phone calls from insureds, claimants, producers, and other concerning the initial reporting of an accident and claims-related questions. In addition, the associate will also answer policy inquires and direct phone calls to the appropriate parties. 

Job duties to include:

  • Interpret insurance policies
  • Read and understand various PC screens dealing with policy and claims information
  • Take a first notice of loss report
  • Set up a claim service center appointment or field assignment
  • Provide excellent customer service

Other duties may be required.

 

 

Requirements:

Qualified applicants will possess a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of customer service experience. Bilingual skills, fluency in English and Spanish preferred.

These positions will report to a Claims Supervisor and will not supervise other employees.

 

Associate $30,002 - $44,943
