Auto Material Damage Photo Based Estimator
Description and Requirements
Maryland Auto Insurance is seeking motivated and organized candidates to fill an Auto Material Damage Photo Desk Appraiser position with our Claims Department.
The duties of this position will include:
- Estimating vehicles from a Photo Based Estimating platform
- Writing auto damage estimates and issuing settlement payments
- Documenting our claim notes platform consistently
- Interacting with the public and claims department
- Provide expertise in training and constructive feedback
- Performing other necessary duties as required
- The successful candidate may be required to attend special courses offered for certification in the interest of acquiring the required skills and/or keeping abreast of industry changes
Additional Information
This position will report to a Claims Supervisor. This is a flextime semi remote position, scheduled for 80 hours per pay period. Duties of the position may require work during evenings, weekends or holidays. Additional hours worked, with prior supervisory approval, will be compensated as compensatory time.
