What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Layout and wire industrial electrical control panels 

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and wire panels from prints 

  • Interface machines on the shop floor from boxes to connection points 

  • Help check I/O on initial start-up of press 

  • Troubleshoot any issues with initial start-up of press 

  • Tear down, label and prepare electrical for shipping 

  • Assist with other tasks associated with working in a manufacturing environment 

  • Read and understand company policies. 

  • 5S familiar 

 

Required Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent 

  • Technical school a plus 

  • Minimum of 2 years’ electrical/wiring control panels experience 

  • Understand electrical components and electronics 

  • Ability to read schematics and wire panels from prints 

  • Industrial Manufacturing experience 

  • Must have the ability to travel (approximately 10% of the time)

Work Environment 

This position operates in a plant environment. The employee is regularly exposed to a variety of conditions within the plant. The noise level is usually moderate. Will be exposed to manufacturing conditions including heat in the summer months and cold in the winter months.
