Reporting to the BTG Program Manager, the ideal individual is flexible, compassionate, and professional. Terros Health is hiring an Part-Time (20 hours per week)

Behavioral Health Technician for our McDowell Road location in Phoenix, AZ. 

20 hours Part-Time, Employee (No Benefits)

Hours are flexible per staff's personal schedule Monday-Friday and or Weekends 8am-4pm

 

$2,000 sign on bonus! External Candidates Only 

 

 

 

Behavioral Health Technician Duties Include:

  • Working with persons with SMI designation that are transitioning into Permanent Supportive Housing
  • Connect clients to community resources and collaborate with them in developing goals to sustain housing on a long-term basis
  • Build community relationships and coordinate care
  • Assess service needs of each individual, create treatment plans and case management with coordination of care of all entities involved 
  • Working in the community and 1-2 with clients in their home

Qualifications

 

  • GED/High school diploma with a minimum of 1.5 years of behavioral health experience or,
  • An associate's degree in the field of medical or behavioral health, or
  • A bachelor's degree (not in the field of behavioral health) and 1 year of behavioral health experience, or
  • A bachelor's degree in the field of behavioral, or
  • A master's degree or higher in the field of behavioral health
  • Customer service skills, especially effective communication skills, are needed
  • Ability to work independently, with flexibility, and within prescribed deadlines
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must have valid Arizona driver’s license, be 21 years of age with minimum 4 years driving experience and meet requirements of Terros Health’s driving policy.
  • Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role.
  • Must pass a TB Test.
