Terros Health is hiring a Manager -Accounts Receivable based out of our Central office in Phoenix, AZ. 
Full-Time Employed: 40 hours/week
Location: Central Phoenix, AZ (Remote with requirements to attend in person meetings and events)

The Manager of Accounts Receivable is responsible for the reconciliation of services rendered to final and accurate payment.  This includes the successful resolution of outstanding cash payments, claims denials, and claims projects which may involve denials, under paid claims, account balances, incorrect payer adjudication, and payment appeals and grievances, amongst other related activities.  The Manager of Accounts Receivable will manage a team of staff dedicated to ensuring optimal and accurate revenue actualization. This position reports to the Director of the Revenue Cycle Management department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, health care management, information systems, or business administration is preferred, equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a claims and/or accounts receivable related job role at a mid to large sized health care provider. Preference for FQHC, Behavioral health, and/or multispecialty providers
  • Advanced technical Enterprise Practice Management (EPM) skills, to include advanced knowledge of health care claims and reporting on data, systems, tools, files, and protocols
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, including utilizing data to advanced system tools to capture, trend, track, and resolve payment opportunities
  • Demonstrated knowledge of electronic billing systems, files, tools, and protocols.
  • Knowledge in and experience with commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid billing requirements, as well as common coding practices.
  • This role is a non-driving position. This position does not require travel to various Terros Health sites on a regular basis. May be 18 years or age and with less than two years’ driving experience or no driving experience.
  • Must have a valid Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for one within 7 working days of assuming role.
  • Must pass a TB Test.
