Terros Health is hiring a Health Information Liaison at our Central Avenue location in Phoenix, AZ. 

Full-Time, Employed

Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm

Hybrid Schedule 

No Weekends!

 

Position Summary:

The Health Information Liaison is a hands-on customer service position responsible for assisting with the overall support of the Electronic Health Record system. To be successful in this role you must be accountable, reliable, hard-working, technically savvy, detail oriented and a quick learner. This position requires strong customer service, communication, trouble shooting, analytical and deductive reasoning skills. This position will serve as the main point of contact with end users as well as internal and external technical resources for issue resolution and/or new development projects. This is a hybrid remote and in-person position. 

Health Information Liaison Duties Include:

  • Oversee daily management and completion of service and support requests, including but not limited to providing support to end users, troubleshooting issues, identifying training opportunities, and coordinating with team and other stakeholders for issue resolution
  • Identifies, troubleshoots, documents, and informs EHR system functionality problems/issues, tips and shortcuts.
  • Evaluates, identifies, communicates, and recommends alternative solutions while awaiting full issue resolution.
  • Coordinates with vendor to resolve software issues and implement software enhancements, while managing the EHR vendor relationship. Attend meeting and trainings, and meet with EHR vendor to review progress of programming requests, communicating issues, etc.
  • Act as main contact for EHR application ensuring communication occurs appropriately with enough distribution to affected staff for issues and updates while coordinated with IT and other relevant departments.
  • Provides effective communication regarding issues, objectives, initiatives, compliance, and performance to appropriate management.
  • Meet with key staff to coordinate and recommend proposed solutions to systems problems. Outline solutions to meet the users’ needs, create mock-up designs and processing steps, prepare specifications, flow charts, and/or process diagrams for clarification purposes.
  • Assists in the management of EHR application updates. Work with vendor during and following implementation to eliminate errors. Run tests, diagnose problems, verify solutions, and ensure system requirements have been met.
  • Lead special projects as assigned. Manage the scope of work, objectives, and other project activities of assigned projects.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent required; Preferred AA or bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years’ customer service experience in a technical environment
  • Excellent customer service skills, analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to resourcefully troubleshoot software related issues
  • Ability to quickly learn new computer programs or features, identify and analyze problems and recommend solutions
  • Ability to work well independently with little need for supervision  
  • Experience with Nextgen EHR strongly preferred.
  • This role is a non-driving position. This position is performed at one location and does not require travel to various Terros Health centers. May be 18 years of age and with less than two years’ driving experience or no driving experience.
  • Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role.
  • Must pass a TB Test.
