Required Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
- Understanding of Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia’s vision and desire to advance our mission of affordable housing for Philadelphians.
- Experience in building relationships, writing proposals and reporting, with a demonstrated knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures within the grant-writing field.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to write creatively and compellingly.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, plan, organize, and implement multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- 5+ years of office work experience in a related professional setting, experience in fundraising, grant writing and a nonprofit environment.
- Self-motivated team player, flexible and able to work under pressure.
- Prior management or leadership experience preferred.
- Ability and willingness to work with Habitat staff from various teams to develop grant proposals and reports.
- Creativity, flexibility, ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Attention to detail, and ability to follow-through.
- Competency with Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience preferred.
- Discretion with confidential information.
Physical Requirements to Perform Duties:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a computer and desk workstation
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, paid vacation, sick time, and holidays. Salary is commensurate with experience.
