Shifts Available:
Full Time Day Shift - works 3-12 hour shifts per week from 7am-7pm and eligible for full benefits package
Full Time Night Shift - works 3-12 hour shifts per week from 7pm-7am and is eligible for full benefits package
Part Time Day Shift - works 1 or 2-12 hour shifts per week from 7am-7pm and eligible for PTO accrual only
PRN Night Shift - works from 7pm-7am as needed and is not eligible for benefits
Requirements:
- Good organizational and customer service skills
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse License and CPR certification
- Desire to work with older adults

Responsibilities:
- Make accurate and ongoing data collection of the resident’s status and respond appropriately.
- Document accurate and ongoing data collection of the resident’s status. Document patient care which reflects nursing intervention, resident’s response to the care provided, resident’s needs, problems, capabilities, limitations and progress toward goals.
- Communicate with the physicians regarding resident’s needs and changes in their conditions.
- Collaborate with other facility staff members to ensure the residents’ well-being.
- Perform direct patient care utilizing the established policies and procedures of the facility. Provide personal care to provide comfort and well-being to the residents, acknowledging physiological and psychological needs. Demonstrate ability to handle emergency situations in a prompt, precise and professional manner.
- Provide a thorough, concise report at the change of shift. Communicate pertinent information to the appropriate person in a timely manner. Accurately transcribe physician orders according to the facilities policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, neat and safe environment for the facilities residents and staff. Ensure that supplies and equipment necessary for patient care are stored in an organized and efficient manner.
- Assist resident’s and family members with concern and empathy. Respect their confidentiality and privacy and communicate with them in a courteous and respectful manner.
- Follow proper reporting procedures for actual or potential accidents and/or incidents.
- Administer medications to residents in an accurate, timely manner. Monitor and document medication for residents for effectiveness of drugs and occurrence of adverse effects.
- Follow care plans related to each resident’s needs and his/her comprehensive assessment.
- Identify resident problems and emergency situations and initiate emergency care and “life-saving” measures.
- Observe all facility safety policies and procedures.
- Observe infection control procedures.
- Follow Residents Rights policies at all times.
- Consistently present yourself to work with an appropriate, professional appearance.
- Consistently work cooperatively with residents, residents’ representatives, facility staff, physicians, consultants, and ancillary service providers.
- Perform all duties assigned in an effective, cooperative, timely and professional manner.
