FP&A Manager

We are seeking a results-driven FP&A Manager to lead financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting for our fast-growing software company. You’ll work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and G&A teams to provide strategic financial insights and help drive decision-making while contributing to process improvements and ad hoc initiatives. This role requires strong analytical skills, SaaS metrics fluency, and a proactive, business-partnering mindset. By delivering actionable financial insights, you will help drive strategic decision-making and contribute to the success of CARET.

Responsibilities:

 
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes, by partnering with department leads (e.g., Sales, Product, Engineering, G&A) to align on financial targets, resource planning, and KPIs
  • Build and maintain financial models for revenue projections,, headcount planning operating expenses, and consolidated reporting
  • Implement standardized financial reporting to improve clarity and alignment across teams and optimize resource allocation and budgetary controls
  • Prepare and deliver management reports, board decks, and investor updates with SaaS Metrics, key insights, and actionable recommendations
  • Monitor variances between actuals and forecasts and explain key drivers and metrics
  • Collaborate with Accounting to ensure timely and accurate month-end close and financial reporting
  • Implement and improve FP&A tools, dashboards, and processes to support scalability and automation
  • Support strategic initiatives such as pricing strategy, scenario modeling, and capital planning
 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA a plus)
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance, ideally in a SaaS or tech environment
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial processes, systems, and ability to aggregate disparate data sources for integration into financial models
  • Strong modeling and data analysis skills using Excel,
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite) and BI tools (e.g. Domo)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present insights clearly to stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen and ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with job posting disclosure requirements.

Pay range: $100,000 - $130,000. Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the position, location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operations business needs.

Depending on the position, compensation may also include commission, bonuses, etc. Potential for bonuses is based on company performance and potential for merit increases is based on performance.
