What You'll Do

  •  Partner with BIM Development team in the creation and implementation of industry-leading Revit tools and resources, including but not limited to the development of PAE Standard Revit families, Dynamo scripts, Dynamo custom 
  • nodes, Revit toolbars, and customized CAD profiles
  •  Provide on-going training, user support, technical troubleshooting, standards guidance and project integration of BIM services
  •  Partner with the BIM management, team members, and stakeholders as required for PAE projects and initiatives
  •  Work with a variety of BIM-related tools and technologies, including Revit, Dynamo, Navisworks, Revizto, Rhino, Grasshopper, Python, and other programming languages as part of project delivery 
  •  Learn and apply the Agile process for BIM Development, execute assigned tasks using the Agile process
  •  Assist in the development of BIM standards, policy, and procedures
  •  Assist in the research and implementation of new tools and systems; support the testing, validation, and documentation of existing tools and systems
  •  Build custom content for projects as needed
  •  Track support requests, prioritize work, create support documentation, and communicate status within PAE support platform
  •  Provide feedback to project teams regarding model strategies and lessons learned
  •  Occasional after-hours support for PAE projects, initiatives, and systems maintenance
  •  Create a positive customer support experience with a consummately professional attitude
  •  Perform other duties as assigned 

 

What You Bring

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of AEC industry experience preferable with MEP firms, or equivalent experience
  • Preferred: 5+ years primarily focused on Revit family & schedule creation
  • Preferred: Industry certifications, e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) 
  • Advanced proficiency in using and supporting current AEC/MEP design tools and platforms including AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360 (now ACC), Dynamo, RF Tools, Excel, Navisworks, NewformaGrasshopper, Python or other programming languages
  • Proficiency in creating Revit content, setting up models for production, and optimizing Revit workflows
  • Strong understanding of typical industry project phases and deliverables, with the ability to read and understand engineering plans
  • Willingness to travel 

What We Offer 

 

  • Hiring Base Salary Range: $79,500-$106,500 annual 
    • This position is eligible for straight overtime pay 

 

The base salary is one component of PAE’s competitive compensation package for employees. We take into consideration a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, internal equity and geographic location in determining exact salary offered. At PAE, roles are eligible for additional rewards, including salary increases and annual bonuses based on individual performance. The above range represents PAE's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
