Description

Responsible for all receipt and distribution of all Center expendable property.

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Advanced degrees preferred. One-year prior experience in warehousing/storeroom and expendable inventory control preferred. Must possess a valid in-State Driver’s License and meet Company insurability requirements. Requires computer literacy in word processing and Microsoft Suite of applications.
Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and/or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.

Qualifications

o Follows all integrity guidelines and procedures and ensures no manipulation of student data.
o Performs duties as the primary Receiver of all supplies and materials for the Center, ensuring vendor invoices are accurate and reconcile with purchase orders.
o Performs administrative and clerical support activities in support of the Property Officer and Maintenance/Logistics Manager.
o Ensures cleanliness and orderliness of the Center warehouse.
o Assists in conducting expendable and non-expendable property inventories and complies with Financial Audit requirements.
o Issues expendable materials and supplies to Center staff in accordance with established procedure.
o Monitors Center material supply levels and initiates purchase orders to maintain acceptable inventory levels to meet Center needs.
o Assists in preparing periodic supply issuance, inventory and accountability reports.
o Ensures security of the warehouse area and notifies the Safety/Security Manager in the event of security problems.
o Maintains computer-based inventories, ordering and accountability systems. Ensures the safeguarding of all inventories in the warehouse.
o Types various documents, checking for accuracy of grammar, punctuation, spelling and numerical calculations.
o Maintains files of materials received and issued.

o Assists Property Manager/Supervisor as needed in controlling and processing accountable property.
o Participates in weekly Triangle Meeting which involves Finance, Property and Purchasing, to ensure prompt correction of vendor issues.
o Produces quality work/assignments in a thorough, timely and accurate manner.
o Maintains appropriate personal attendance, accountability and work productivity standards.
o Plans, prioritizes and organizes assignments to meet established goals and deadlines.
o Understands and applies job knowledge to effectively complete all required job responsibilities. Proactively maintains the skills required to perform job duties.
o Mentors, monitors and models the Career Success Standards as required by the PRH.
o Shows respect and courtesy to students and holds them accountable for their actions and behavior.
o Provides quality services for students and ensures that quality is maintained and student needs are met. Pursues improvement and enhancement of requisite services.
o Effectively articulates thoughts and ideas. Identifies problems, analyzes causes and evaluates appropriate solutions prior to taking or recommending actions. Follows up to ensure prompt/appropriate action is taken and that problems are in fact corrected.
o Works in partnership with staff from all Departments to ensure effective supervision and services are provided to students.
o Accepts direction and supervision from the Center Director/Center Duty Officer/Shift Manager to include assignments to temporarily perform job responsibilities of other departments and positions.
o Other duties as assigned.
