The Red Rock Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas: Certified Nurse Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, Medical Administration Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Plumbing, Painting, Security and Protective Services, HVAC, Landscaping, Electrical, and Building Construction Technology.

As the Campus Standards & Discipline Officer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a positive and safe environment conducive to learning and personal development. Your responsibilities will include enforcing campus standards, addressing disciplinary issues, and collaborating with students and staff to create a culture of responsibility and respect.

 

Schedule

Wednesdays, Thursdays & Sundays 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm; Fridays & Saturdays 3:00 pm to 12:00 am; OFF Mondays & Tuesdays

Responsibilities:

  • Standards Enforcement: Implement and enforce campus standards, policies, and codes of conduct to ensure a secure and supportive learning environment.

  • Discipline Resolution: Address disciplinary issues promptly and fairly, applying corrective measures when necessary. Conduct investigations, gather relevant information, and collaborate with stakeholders to reach resolutions.

  • Counseling and Guidance: Provide guidance and support to students, helping them understand and adhere to campus standards. Foster a culture of responsibility through positive reinforcement and mentorship.

  • Conflict Resolution: Mediate conflicts among students and staff, promoting open communication and understanding. Implement conflict resolution strategies to maintain a harmonious community.

  • Policy Development: Collaborate with leadership to develop and update campus policies, ensuring they align with the mission and values of Red Rock Job Corps Center.

  • Educational Initiatives: Develop and implement educational programs that promote a culture of responsibility, ethical behavior, and personal growth.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates of Arts Degree or 1-year related experience working with youth.
  • Must possess a valid in-State Driver’s License and meet Company insurability requirements. 

Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and / or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
