Description

The Bank is looking for a Relationship Banker to play a critical role in the Bank’s continued growth and in delivering an outstanding customer experience. This person will be responsible for building the Bank’s business deposit relationships and connecting new and existing businesses with the Bank’s cash management resources they need to help their businesses grow, thrive, and succeed.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Build long-term relationships with customers and work to understand their financial needs and consultatively address by making appropriate product and service recommendations or referring them to a financial partner.
  • Clearly explain product and service benefits, requirements, changes and other related product information to customers.
  • Support branch operations, manage customer relationships, and efficiently process banking transactions to minimize errors and fraud, including account opening and closing.
  • Works collaboratively with bank partners to deliver the desired customer experience and achieve overall business objectives.
  • Engage in proactive customer acquisition activities such as scheduling and conducting self-generated appointments, attending on-sites, and completing customer outreach by phone.
  • Demonstrate empathy and proactively resolve customer concerns in a timely, professional, and positive manner, escalating issues, as needed.
  • Participate in continuous learning to gain knowledge of bank processes, policies, software, terminology, and rules and regulations.

Preferred Education, Experience, Technical Knowledge, and Skills:

  • Outside Sales: (Preferred)
  • Financial Services: (Preferred)
