Boone Memorial Health is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR team full time. This role supports a variety of HR functions, including payroll processing, benefits administration, onboarding, compliance tracking, and employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing sensitive information, working in a fast-paced environment, and balancing multiple priorities while delivering excellent service to employees.

Boone Memorial Health (BMH) is a growing, rural Critical Access Health System located in Madison, West Virginia. Our system includes a 25-bed inpatient hospital and a network of outpatient clinics and specialty services serving Boone County and surrounding areas. Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience with payroll processing and HRIS data management
- Background in benefits administration, talent acquisition, or HR compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries is a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate employee information in the HRIS for payroll, benefits, and compliance reporting
- Assist with processing payroll transactions, reviewing time and attendance, and support reconciliation and audit efforts
- Assist with employee benefits administration, enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Support leave of absence administration and maintain related documentation
- Assist in talent acquisition, including job postings, applicant screening, interview coordination, and pre-employment steps
- Assist with new hire orientation and initial benefits overviews
- Maintain HR records to meet legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements
- Contribute to employee engagement, wellness, and recognition initiatives
- Provide general HR support and guidance to employees and leadership
