Prepared Foods Counter Assistant - White River Jct. Store - Full Time

• Waits on customers at the counter, takes orders.
• Weighs, wraps or packages bulk deli foods, and affixes sticker showing price and weight.
• Stocks product to give a full pleasing appearance on shelves and cases.  Ensures rotation of items so that product closes to pull date is displayed in front of shelf.
• Prices product and makes price changes in accordance with standard procedures to reflect cost of goods and margin requirements.
• May prepare some recipes.
• Cleans assigned areas to maintain safe and sanitary conditions.  Cleans shelves, bins, tables, coolers and floor on a regularly scheduled basis.  Washes hands frequently and/or uses flexible gloves.
• Consults with Food Services Manager on planning and execution of resetting of sections to accommodate new products or to discontinue slower-selling items.

Qualifications:  High school or equivalent.  Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. comfortably on a regular basis.

Attendance Requirements:  Flexible hours that includes evenings and weekends.
