- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related technical discipline; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in the chemical industry, ideally in product management, technical marketing, or business operations.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect technical details to commercial strategy.
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects and commercializing new products.
- Working knowledge of chemical manufacturing, regulatory compliance, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, data analysis, and project management skills.
- Strong understanding of chemical products, formulations and their applications
- Demonstrated ability to sell technical products and provide high-level technical consultation to customers.
- Must have the ability to challenge the status quo, think differently, and have the ability to build relationships with customers at all levels of the organization.
- Very fast-paced work environment. Able to quickly prioritize and reprioritize initiatives so that dynamic organizational and customer needs are met.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Work Environment
- Travel is required to meet with customers, provide technical presentations, and attend industry conferences.
