EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in videography/photography, marketing/public relations or related field is preferred. Relevant work experience and certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
EXPERIENCE:
Social Media Coordinator must
- At least three years of proven experience as a Social Media Coordinator.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a wide breadth of social media work.
- Experience in planning and executing social media campaigns from concept to completion.
JOB-RELATED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Proficiency with Loomly software or another social media scheduling application.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organizational skills and time-management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work on weekends or outside regular business hours as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of current trends and advancements and techniques.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their requirements for visual content.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Aptitude in sound decision-making and problem-solving.
- Strong interpersonal communication with the ability to motivate others.
- Strong customer-service focus.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team with enthusiasm and creativity.
- Able to attend to detail and prioritize.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
- Medium Work: Lifting or exerting 20 to 50 pounds of weight/force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of weight/force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of weight/force constantly to move objects.
- Must be able to stoop, bend, reach and grab with arms and hands, manual dexterity.
- Must be able to travel throughout Lighthouse’s service area.
- When a Lighthouse vehicle is not available, use of personal vehicle is required.
- Must be able to work regular office hours Monday-Friday.
