Job Description
We are looking for a mission-driven, detail-oriented recent graduate to immediately add value to the Central Operations team at Curana Health. The ideal candidate operates well in ambiguity, seeks opportunities to continuously improve his or her toolkit, and is passionate about helping deliver more efficient and effective care to those who need it most. This position will report directly to the Director of Operations and will work closely with interdepartmental teams to solve some of the organization’s most complex and pressing needs. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for oversight of our Curana’s Collaborative Practice Agreements (CPAs) as outlined below:
Each state has rules and regulations outlining requirements for oversight of nurse practitioners and physician assistants by physicians. The relationship and expectations of this oversight is outlined in a document signed by both parties known as a collaborative (or in some circumstances, supervisory) practice agreement. For this document supervisory agreements will be included in the term collaborative practice agreement (CPA). The Operations analyst will have accountabilities for managing these collaborative practice agreements and other regulatory requirements surrounding collaborative practice oversight. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring all collaborative agreement documents are signed by respective parties and stored for easy accessibility, ensuring adherence to the rules and regulations of each state such as not exceeding limits of the number of collaborative practice agreements a physician may enter and ensuring the parties are within acceptable geographic locations, ensuring required filings with states are completed, circulating annual attestations to Curana providers, ensuring renewal of CPAs annually in states where required and similar activities with any contracted physician providing collaborative oversight to a Curana nurse practitioner or physician assistant. This individual will coordinate regular meetings with regional leadership teams, recruiting, business development and others to ensure Curana is in compliance with state rules and regulations and business needs are met. Responsibilities
- Ensuring all nurse practitioners and physician assistants requiring a collaborating physician have a signed collaborative practice agreement adhering to each state’s rules and regulations.
- Tracking of new hires, terminations, provider change in roles or geography or provider FMLA/leave status
- Adjusting collaborative practice agreements based on information obtained above
- Meet with regional leadership teams and recruiting to coordinate collaborative practice agreement assignments
- File any state required documents
- Track and/or audit all collaborative practice agreements and adherence to chart review co-signature completion
- Communicate with business development and new acquisition integration teams for impacts and actions required with respect to forecasting collaborative practice agreement needs
- Partner closely with Director of Operations and the Senior Analyst, Operations to prepare and review productivity reports, forecasts, and ad hoc analytics under supervisory direction
- Supports the data needs of cross functional teams & projects, from leveraging SQL to pull data to distilling key insights into executive-level readouts in PowerPoint

Requirements
- Prior experience in program building, logistics and people management preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint, familiarity with SQL
- Six sigma training preferred
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus
Travel Requirements:
- Remote with up to 10% travel required for leadership development, team building or to attend strategy meetings
The salary range is $60,000-$65,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Curana Health offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, 401K, flexible PTO, paid holidays (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
