The People Operations Associate will be responsible for supporting a variety of functions within the People Operations department including talent acquisition, onboarding, recruitment marketing, communication, systems management and more. This position will be responsible for providing world class customer support to our field operations teams around People Operations programs, processes, and systems.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage applicant system administration – requisition review and approval, job postings, offer letter management, disposition of applicants, and associated communications.
- Consult with hiring managers in recruiting needs - provide tools, resources and support where required.
- Manage the pre-employment process; review candidate backgrounds, send approval for hire to managers and conduct daily audits as needed.
- Create a world-class end-to-end experience for new hires during the onboarding process.
- Manage the creation, execution and administration of monthly communication including but not limited to: Hot Jobs, Talent Announcements, Peakiversaries, etc.
- Assist in the administration of health and wellness programs and initiatives underneath PeakMade’s LiveWell Program.
- Responsible for the entry and audit of HRIS data to include position changes, supervisor changes, title changes, transfers, organizational structure changes, etc.
- Serve as the Point of Contact for the POPS Helpdesk Ticketing system and support the People Operations Support Email to ensure customer inquiries are resolved and responded to in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidential personnel files with all necessary documents as required by state and federal regulations.
- Maintain compliance with department audit requirements as well as federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist the People Operations Team in developing and executing improvements throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Research and respond to employee questions and requests as needed.
- Reconcile corporate expenditures and code invoices.
- Assist with company initiatives that promote PeakMade’s people-focused culture.
- Perform other duties and assist with ad-hoc projects as needed.
Experience & Skills Needed:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Psychology, or other related field preferred
- 1-2 years of general HR experience preferred
- Experience working with HCM systems; Paycom experience preferred.
- Proven skills in client relationship building, critical thinking, and verbal/written communications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - specifically Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Teams
- Outstanding service orientation; Sense of urgency; High-level of personal integrity
- Ability to work well under pressure and flexible in adapting and responding to changing situations
- Ability to maintain confidential employee records
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Collaborative and self-motivated team player
