Summary

The Mail Room Attendants’ primary responsibilities include sorting / filing mail and logging packages into lockers / overflow areas.

What You’ll Do:

  • Use software to log and store packages in lockers and over-flow areas when lockers have reached capacity or packages do not fit.
  • Audit Luxer locker reports for packages that need to be moved to overflow areas due to time in storage or returned to sender due to resident no longer residing at property.
  • Maintain processes to accurately distribute mail and packages to customers.
  • Provide customer service in a courteous and professional manner during business hours.
  • Sort and distribute USPS mail into mailboxes accurately.
  • Work productively without supervision.
  • Additional responsibilities as required.
  • Notify residents and log all perishable packages into Entrata.
  • Work with operations department to update resident mailbox info.
  • Complete weekly audit of University Gateway package room.
  • Assist residents with lockouts, key reprogramming, and other concerns.
  • Assist leasing office in setting up and breaking down of residents’ events.
  • Responsible for distributing and setting up promotional materials in clubhouse.

What You’ll Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Candidate must be available on evenings, weekends and additional hours as need be during Turn.
  • Computer literacy required, ability to earn and navigate new software systems.
  • The person in this position needs to continually move about the mail room and facilities, access shelves, lift 50 lbs. or more safely, operate office equipment, etc.
