Description

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for the painting, handling, staging, receiving and shipping of downhole tools in the TDI fleet. The Specialist is responsible for recording all tool information on Service reports.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Have knowledge of and the ability to properly paint tools.
  • Can disassemble and clean tool with a high-pressure washer. 
  • Able to operate overhead crane and forklift.
  • Able to operate break-out effectively and safely.
  • Employees must have knowledge and use of all IMTE’s.
  • Able to assemble and disassemble all assigned tool disciplines.
  • Ability to record all information on Service Work Orders correctly and efficiently.
  • Send shipping and receiving emails.
  • Schedule shipping trucks from 3rd party vendors.
  • Have knowledge and ability of QA/QC and re-work of parts.
  • All employees must maintain a professional appearance and relationship with all TDI employees and customers with kind, courteous behavior always.
  • Training of all new employees added to the team.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Driver’s License.
  • Knowledge of NOV Breakout Unit.
  • Computer knowledge (Windows, email, internet, etc.).
  • MS Word; MS Excel; MS Power Point; MS Outlook.
  • Communication skills (Develop written communications requiring grammar skills; Interact with customers on an explanatory basis; interact with groups of people and co-workers; use of telephones, public address system; and oral communication).
  • Spelling.
  • Reading skills (Basic instructional and technical information.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Balancing; crouching; feeling; manual dexterity; handling; hearing; kneeling; lifting; pulling; pushing; reaching arm's length; standing; stooping; walking; visual acuity (visual perception of detail at distances close to the eyes, data and figures, computer terminal, visual inspection involving small defects and small parts.
