Victory Preparatory Academy, a top-rated charter school with a strong academic track record, is seeking a dedicated Robotics Instructor for our growing robotics program and competitive Robotics Team. We are making strategic investments in equipment, labs, and staff to elevate STEM learning, and we're looking for a robotics leader to shape that future.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $56,000–$65,000 (based on experience)
  • $2,000 sign-on bonus
  • 7 paid personal days annually

Your Day-to-Day As our Robotics Instructor, you’ll:

  • Teach robotics-focused STEM courses for students in grades 6–12
  • Integrate coding, engineering, and design thinking into engaging, hands-on projects
  • Coach and grow our competitive Robotics Team, including preparing for regional and national competitions
  • Organize after-school robotics enrichment programs, workshops, and clubs
  • Maintain and organize robotics kits, materials, and STEM lab spaces
  • Lead instruction using platforms such as VEX, LEGO Mindstorms, Arduino, or similar technologies
  • Work with school leaders to grow and align the robotics curriculum with academic goals
  • Advise students on STEM college and career pathways
  • Collaborate with staff to develop interdisciplinary STEM learning experiences

  • You have experience building, coding, or leading robotics teams or classes

  • You’re collaborative, innovative, and excited to build something meaningful

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field or CTE endorsement
  • Experience teaching robotics or coaching a competitive robotics team (preferred)
  • Knowledge of coding, circuits, and robotics hardware/software (e.g., VEX, Arduino, Python)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
