CMC is seeking a Point of Care Coordinator to join our Laboratory team! This position provides general and technical oversight of point of care testing at CMC to meet regulatory standards. The Point of Care Coordinator, in collaboration with laboratory management, will establish and implement lab policies, procedures, protocols and monitor quality assurance and performance improvement to ensure compliance with CLIA and other regulatory agencies. This position supports continuum of patient care by performing chemical, microscopic, serologic, hematologic, immunohematology, parasitic, molecular and bacteriologic tests to provide data for use in treatment and diagnosis of disease in all areas of Coulee Medical Center. The incumbent is responsible for performing routine duties as directed by the Laboratory Manager.  Education/Experience:
•  National Certification as a Medical Technologist in the specialties of Chemistry, Hematology, Serology and Microbiology
• A graduate of a baccalaureate program in Medical Technology with certification through a nationally recognized organization (ASCP and/or AMT)
• Washington State Medical Assistance License for Phlebotomy within 90 days of start date
• BLS Certification required

Salary Range: The wage scale for this position has been finalized for the facility including 26 steps and the selected candidate will be placed on the wage scale depending on years of experience.
