Position Objective:
The PL Program Coordinator will lead the daily all-camp program activities and team competitions at PL, and is responsible to model a genuine lifestyle of Christian discipleship, nurturing spiritual growth of campers through program activities and curriculum in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values.
General Qualifications:
The Ponderosa Lodge (“PL”) Program Coordinator is a Ministerial position. Ministerial staff render their work, stewardship, relationships and behavior as evidence of being followers of Jesus Christ while embracing and affirming Mount Hermon Association, Inc.’s (“MHA”) mission, vision and beliefs. They are responsible for defining, cultivating and leading MHA’s Christian community, conference programs, and retreats.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Plan and execute quality all-camp program activities and team competitions for both junior high and high school campers, ensuring that all programs are holistic and accomplishing set objectives.
- Directly lead the Program Assistant Lead by encouraging, training and empowering them.
- Provide budget oversight and accountability as it relates to program activities.
- Organize with the PL Leadership Team for weekly/daily execution of all programs.
- Meet daily with the PL Leadership Team and supervisor.
- Conduct mid-summer evaluations for the program and all supervised staff.
- Other duties as assigned by the Ponderosa Program Intern.
