Where you fit in

The Campus Operations Coordinator will oversee the successful operation of the ministry of Highlands. As the Operations Coordinator you will develop and scale systems in order to grow Highlands. This includes collaboration with Central service teams, volunteer onboarding/development, launching successful new environments, and serving as primary point of contact for all moving parts.  

As the admin you will keep the team organized and informed by providing proactive administrative support, assistance, and encouragement.

What you’ll be doing

Operations 

  • Identify, develop, and scale systems to serve a growing church
  • Collaborate to identify Highlands goals, challenges, and solutions with Campus Pastor 
  • Lead out the Highlands volunteer “Join A Team” process including; contacting, scheduling, and onboarding
  • Function as the Highlands ‘Central Services Liaison’
  • Highlands Liaison for all matters of central communication and facilities needs (communications requests, facilities requests, etc) 
  • Attend weekly meetings at the Windmill campus as needed
  • Staff point on monitoring Highlands budget and future budget needs 

Ministry Support

  • Lead campus hospitality to ensure they are equipped to execute events & environments on Sunday and throughout the week. 
  • Complete & maintain all Highlands facility usage in eSPACE 
  • Systemize, execute, and delegate weekly church checklist
  • Assist in managing the ministry team calendar and scheduling
  • Ordering, cleaning, and restocking the Green Room
  • Order all necessary  food, items, and supplies for weekly ministries (CR, Rooted, etc) and all events hosted by The Crossing
  • Work with the Highlands team to create and execute events that serve the Highlands community. 
  • Recruit needed Activators, ordering supplies, and booking vendors for events. 
  • Assist in ordering items needed for campus events, creative elements and other campus needs

General

  • Perform general office duties such as copying, filing, mailing, etc.
  • Answer / return phone calls and emails as requested
  • Purchase items for ministry as needed
  • Organize workflow and synchronize between Google Docs and Rock
  • Maintain Highlands team meeting notes, traction documents, and church calendar
  • Attend any needed meetings and cascade communication
  • Respond to all general ministry questions, both internally and externally, via phone and email
  • Run errands as needed, including transporting items between campuses 
  • Other related duties as needed

Qualifications

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma
  • Minimum Experience: Two years in professional administrative/coordinator role
  • Demonstrates strong technology experience (Gmail, Google Docs, Word, Excel, Rock, etc.)
  • Preferred Experience: Three years in an equivalent church setting or non-profit organization
  • Preferred Skills: Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check
  • Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
