Position: Â The Business Development/Outside Sales Representative is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and managing referral partners within a designated geographical area for Ace Relocation. The role includes both in and out of office activities to generate high-quality leads and facilitate the onboarding of new partners. The salesperson will use a combination of on-site visits, networking, and virtual presentations to achieve targets. This position requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with local businesses and professionals.
Priorities:
- Identify and target potential referral partners
- Approach and engage potential partners through on-site visits, phone calls, emails, and local networking events.
- Use cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach to identify and qualify new leads.
- Attend local networking events and industry meetups to expand the referral network.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with existing partners, providing regular updates and support
- Stay informed about local industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Perform surveys and quality stops, provide estimates, and close generated leads that require in person interactions.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a service-oriented industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to present and close sales opportunities

The starting pay range is $40,000 to $59,000 annual salary plus $500 monthly auto allowance plus commissions and bonus opportunities. Starting pay rate will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable agreement. Top performers in this role make close to $100,000 if not more annually! Dependent on the length of service, hours worked, and applicable agreements, benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and optional disability insurance, sick pay of 2.66 hours for every 80 hours worked, paid holidays (6 days annually), three personal days (prorated based on start date), bereavement pay and retirement benefits. Outside sales positions are considered safety sensitive and will be subject to a pre-employment drug test and the company's random drug test program.
